DONATE

DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW

(Please check your local tax laws or consultant with your accountant.)

All donations support the ongoing expansion and maintenance of the WOW Trail.

There are several ways that you can make donations to the WOW Trail:

Help make our community more bicycle and pedestrian friendly.

Online using PayPal:

PayPal is the safest and secure way of making online donations, and you can use this method even if you don’t have a PayPal account. Its simple and easy to use (it takes about 30 seconds) – simply click on the “Donate” button at the top of the right column of the site and then follow the instructions. Your donation will be deposited directly into the WOW Trail account that is used for the creation and up-keep of the WOW Trail. You will have the ability to immediately print a receipt and you will receive an email confirmation of your donation.

Send A Check:

If you’d prefer to send a check, make your check out to “WOW Trail” and send it to:

WOW TRAIL. PO Box 6832. Laconia, NH 03247

Does you employer offer contribution matching?

If your company matches charitable contributions by employees, please let them know about your donation to the WOW Trail. This could result in a doubling or tripling of the value of your contribution!

VOLUNTEER

The WOW Trail currently has many volunteer opportunities available. We are always looking for people to help with general trail upkeep and beautification and people interested in helping at one of our fun WOW Trail fundraising events. As well, below are two unique volunteer opportunities:

Adopt-A-Trail Program:

Are you a business owner, community organization, group of friends/neighbors, or individual who would like to commit to helping maintain a section of trail? If so, we’d love to hear from you.  In return for your help, we’ll happily recognize your group with signage along the trail and you’ll be helping us keep the trail well maintained for all to enjoy.

If you’d like to learn more about adopting a section of trail, please contact us at info@wowtrail.org or (603) 344-0339. Thank you!

WOW Trail Ambassadors will report to volunteer Ambassador Coordinator Scott Davis and LPD Chief Matt Canfield. “We’re looking for Ambassadors to average at least one trip on the trail each week during the spring thru fall season” explains Davis. “It’s a fun and healthy way for someone to promote good trail etiquette and answer any questions trail users may have. Ambassadors will wear a WOW Trail Ambassador shirt identifying themselves.”

LPD Chief Canfield sees this program as a helpful way to maintain safety. “We’re really pleased that these WOW Trail volunteers will be promoting safety out on the trail and we’re happy to work with them in support of this effort”.

For more information on the Ambassador program, email Scott Davis or check out our new Ambassador Brochure.

WOW Trail Ambassador Program:

As use of the WOW Trail continues to grow, a new group of WOW Trail volunteers will help promote safety and trail etiquette out on the trail. “We’re looking to encourage safe use of the trail” explains WOW Trail President Allan Beetle. “Being a WOW Trail Ambassador will be a great way to contribute to this project.”
