The Kids Fun Run will start at 10:00 am in the Track

Awards

Awards to the top 3 overall male & female runners.  Awards will also be

given out to the top 3 male and female runners in each age category:

10K (<19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+)

5K (<12; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+)

 

Please stop by the Awards Tent following the race to claim your award.  

Awards will not be mailed after the event.

10K Run $30 ($35 Race Day)
5K Run/Walk – ADULT (21+) $25 ($30 Race Day)
5K Run/Walk – YOUTH (13-20)  $20 ($25 Race Day) 
5K Run/Walk – KIDS (<12)  $10 ($15 Race Day) Please note that there is no event shirt

included with KIDS registration - if you would like a shirt please use the "Youth" category

Runaway Pumpkin Course Map

10K Course Map

A great course that takes you around Lake Opechee and down the WOW Trail!

Runners start on North Main Street/Rt. 106 near the Smith Track at Opechee Park heading north. Runners take a right onto Busiel Street, continue left on Edgewater Avenue, continue onto Lewis Street and turn right onto North Main Street. Proceeding north on North Main Street, runners take a right onto Old North Main Street and proceed until turning right onto Roundbay Road. Runners follow Roundbay Road (staying right) and turn right to continue down Old North Main Street. Runners turn right onto North Main Street/Rt. 106 and follow until turning right onto Anthony Drive. Runners follow Anthony Drive and turn right onto Elm Street, passing the Laconia Country Club on the left (the 5K mark) and Elm Street School on the right. Runners turn right onto Jefferson Street and then left on Washington Street.   Runners stay straight on Washington Street and then turn left onto Franklin Street.  Runners turn right onto Elm, cross the Lakeport Dam and be directed onto the sidewalk at the entrance to the Opechee Inn & Conference Center. Runners turn right onto the WOW Trail, just prior to reaching the intersection with Union Ave. Runners follow the WOW Trail and turn right onto Messer Street (staying on the right hand side) and re-enter the WOW trail, turning slightly right. Runners proceed to the end of the WOW Trail and return back on North Main Street by turning right towards the finish line. Runners return straight up North Main, through the Oak Street traffic light to the finish line in the Smith Track parking lot (turn right into the parking lot and to the finish arch).
